Pricing & Process
If you’d like to learn more about my process, you’re in the right place. I’ll walk you through everything you can expect — from how we’ll get started and the project timeline to what’s included in the deliverables, pricing, and payment.
The process + The Basic 1-Design Package
The first step is to chat about your project, the more detail, the better! We can talk fonts, graphics—illustration, if so what style, vector, painting, sketch, etc, or realistic—, colors, layout, you can share what designs you love.
Based on that, I come up with a couple of concepts that we can implement for the cover and we can discuss further and settle on one idea. Alternatively, if you have some clear ideas, we can explore those together and see which will look best.
As for the timeline, I can come up with the design within 1-2 weeks, and we can tweak as needed. If you need it faster, I can usually accommodate that.
For a book cover project, I include an eBook cover, one paperback template, and a few 3D versions of the cover. This base package of 1 design is $550.
2-Design Package
The base package includes one concept, but if you’d like to explore more directions before settling on the final design, you can choose the 2- or 3-design package instead. For the example shown here, the author selected the 2-design package. We worked closely together to brainstorm and refine the core ideas, and I created two distinct cover concepts based on our discussions.
In the end, the author chose the more minimalist design, which we fine-tuned until it perfectly matched the book’s tone and message. The final result is the lower cover — a clean, modern design that communicates the idea instantly and aligns beautifully with the book’s theme.
This package is priced at $850. It includes two unique design concepts based on the ideas we develop together, plus unlimited revisions within the chosen designs to ensure every detail feels just right.
3-Design Package
Leanna wanted a bright, uplifting design that celebrated women in STEM. She knew she was torn between some ideas and wanted to explore 3. After we agreed on the initial concepts and I delivered the designs, she found herself drawn to different elements from two of them — she loved the vibrant colors of the third cover and the overall layout of the second. We combined the best of both, refining the design and illustration of the women until we arrived at a version that Leanna absolutely loved.
The 3-design package is $1,100. If you’d like to explore a wider range of creative directions before deciding on a final concept, the 3-design package offers the most flexibility and value.
